Restorative Dentistry
Missing teeth, cavities, and damaged enamel can impact more than just your smile—they can affect your confidence and your ability to enjoy life to the fullest. At Riverview Family Dentistry, our restorative dentistry services are designed to bring back your smile’s strength, function, and natural beauty.
We offer a full range of restorative treatments, including tooth-colored fillings, dental crowns, bridges, dentures, and dental implants. Each treatment plan is customized to meet your individual needs and goals, ensuring that you receive care that’s as unique as your smile. Our skilled team takes a gentle, compassionate approach to every procedure, making your comfort and satisfaction our top priorities.
One of our most popular restorative treatments is tooth-colored fillings, which blend seamlessly with your natural teeth while repairing decay. For more significant damage, dental crowns can restore the integrity of a tooth, and bridges can replace one or more missing teeth with natural-looking results.
For patients who have lost several or all of their teeth, we offer partial and full dentures that are designed for comfort and functionality. Additionally, we are proud to offer implant-supported restorations, which provide a long-lasting, secure solution for missing teeth and help preserve jawbone health.
At Riverview Family Dentistry, we use advanced dental technology to ensure precise diagnoses and treatment planning. Our goal is not just to repair your teeth, but to help you achieve optimal oral health and regain the confidence to smile, speak, and chew comfortably.

Porcelain Crowns
When a tooth is too damaged due to either a fracture or cavities, fillings may not be enough to restore it. That is where dental crowns come in. Porcelain crowns are tooth colored and look more natural than metal ones. Porcelain crowns are cemented right onto your teeth and must be brushed and flossed just like natural teeth. There are several types of porcelain crowns so it is important to discuss with your dentist which type is best for you.

Tooth Colored Fillings
Tooth decay can occur for many reasons and they must be removed before they get bigger and eventually cause pain. Getting filings done can prevent cavities from growing and turning into a root canal, crown, or worse, an extraction. When your teeth develop cavities, they must be drilled out, and the holes have to be filled with a filling material. We do not offer amalgam or metal fillings at our practice. We offer tooth colored fillings that we match to your specific tooth shade.

Bridges
When your teeth are missing, it greatly affects your smile and function. When you are missing teeth, the others have to compensate for it, which can cause more forces on them and can weaken them over time. Dental bridges are one of many options aimed at improving the appearance and function of your teeth by replacing the missing tooth or teeth. During your exam, we will discuss whether or not dental bridges are right for you.

Implant Crowns
The ideal way to replace a missing tooth is with an implant. However, not everyone is candidate for implants, and each case must be discussed with your dentist. At Riverview Family Dentistry, we refer you to a specialist who does the surgery and places the implant. Then, we take care of the rest. A crown on the implant is needed to restore function and that is where we come in.

Implant Supported Bridges
If you are missing many teeth in a row, an implant supported bridge may be your best option. Each case is different, and Dr Pojtek will discuss your specific condition with you and recommend the best course of action.

Dentures and Partials
If you are missing teeth, dentures and partials can provide a positive solution to improving your oral health by restoring esthetics and function. We are proud to provide dentures that are designed to fit your mouth for proper function and comfort. Dr Sandra Pojtek also puts an emphasis on selecting the right tooth size/shape and shade for maximum esthetics so your dentures look natural. Following your appointment, we will provide you with information on at-home care for your dentures. We strongly recommend scheduling follow up appointments for periodic denture cleanings.
